CellCharge Credit Card Processing, Inc. is a full suite provider of merchant services. From electronic swipe terminals to our robust virtual terminal (VT), we have something that will fit your needs!
What sets us apart from the rest of the industry is our unique phone based service, which enables you to process credit and debit cards through your phone without the need to buy or lease any processing equipment!
To use the service you simply dial a toll-free number, and through IVR (interactive voice response), you key in the pertinent card information requested by the computer system using your phone's key pad. The process takes about 35 seconds to complete and is available 24/7.
At the end of an approved card transaction, you will get an authorization number. If the card is declined by the bank, you will know right away if you are going to get paid. Once you have the authorization number, you simply hang up the phone; and, CellCharge, Inc. will capture the money and direct deposit the funds into your existing checking account within 2-3 banking business days.
CellCharge, Inc. Rates
CellCharge, Inc. offers two different programs for its phone service:
- A bundled rate for first time card accepters and/or low volume merchants (under $1000 a month)
- The bundled rate program includes an $89 one-time account setup fee, a $8.99 month fee, and a bundled rate* of 3.85% of each transaction
- An un-bundled program for higher volume merchants (over $1000)
- The un-bundled program includes an $89 one-time account setup fee, a $13.99 monthly fee, and a processing rate of 2.35% + $0.25 per transaction. There is also a $15.00 monthly minimum with this program.
*Bundled rate means the rate is a little higher than normal, but there are no other incidental or hidden fees such as monthly minimums, statement fees, per transaction fees, batch fees, etc, and is designed for low volume.
