TSAC Program Manager Positon

The TSAC Program Manager’s primary responsibility is for the development and promotion of the TSAC program, including program scope and design, support tools and resources, events and promotion. The TSAC Manager will drive the implementation and expansion of the TSAC program through identifying and leveraging new audience channels and partners.

Specific Responsibilities:

Duties to include, but are not limited to the following:
  • Develop and implement program development and execution plans in conjunction with the Sr. Director of Membership and Business Development to expand the TSAC program to existing and future audience groups (e.g. law enforcement, fire/rescue, military, and other tactical professions).
  • Establish and communicate priorities for existing and future educational content needs, certifications, program tools, marketing and events to effectively support the TSAC program to internal NSCA providers.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with strategic partners to expand the TSAC program to existing and new opportunities.
  • Serve as the primary NSCA point of contact for TSAC-related media opportunities.
  • Develop and communicate implementation reports and updates to present to NSCA executive leadership.
  • Contribute to the development of the TSAC budget.
  • Management of assigned direct report(s).
  • Travel as required (domestic, international).
  • Other duties as assigned from the Sr. Director of Membership and Business Development.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, Business Management or related field.
  • At least five years experience managing programs with at least 2 of those years managing direct reports.
  • NSCA Certified Strength and Condition Specialist® (CSCS®) certified plus at least three years coaching experience.
  • Experience in program development and execution.
  • Presentation and media experience very helpful.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills (writing, correspondence, etc.)
  • Works well and communicates effectively with staff and member volunteers. 
  • Advanced experience with Microsoft Office applications.
