NSCA conferences are the best way to learn the latest research, techniques, and breakthrough performance methods used by top professionals throughout the world. It’s a gathering of all the “greats” in one place—featuring dynamic speakers, unique presentations, and interactive opportunities with the best-of-the-best from around the world. All of our conferences provide CSCS® and NSCA-CPT® Continuing Education Unit (CEU) opportunities.

Annual Conferences

The NSCA sponsors three annual conferences each year in exciting locations throughout the country.

  1. The Sport-Specific Training Conference in January focuses on training for baseball and football.
  2. The NSCA National Conference in July includes sessions covering all aspects of strength and conditioning, plus presentations of original research by top scientists.
  3. The Personal Trainers’ Conference is held in the spring in Las Vegas, and offers two exciting days of cutting-edge techniques and theories of personal training.

Both the Sport-Specific Training and National Conferences include a trade show where attendees can try out the latest equipment and network with important industry suppliers.

Networking

Not only are these conferences outstanding educational resources, but they’re the best way to network for job opportunities and advance your career. The NSCA Career Center travels to the Sport-Specific Training Conference and the NSCA National Conference, matching up employers and prospective employees. All of our conferences feature social events that encourage networking with your peers.

There are several ways I keep on top of the field. I read as many journals as I can, and talk with as many strength and conditioning coaches as possible in every sport, on every level. I also attend seminars, trade shows, and conventions. I try to go to San Jose State University a couple times a year to speak with some of my former instructors. —Terrell Jones, Strength and Development Coordinator for the San Francisco Forty-Niners.

Other Events

In addition to our three annual conferences, we host a variety of clinics and symposia throughout the year, many of them in our world-class teaching facility in beautiful Colorado Springs, Colorado. Our state and provincial chapters host numerous regional conferences (view the calendar of events).
